What is Mesology
Mesology is a safe treatment method, based on regular basic medicine including anatomy, physiology, neurology and pathology. I integrate this regular knowledge with Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine, orthomolecular medicine, homeopathy and psychology.
During the treatment I use electro physiological diagnostics (EFD according to Voll). Approximately 80 - 100 points (mainly) on hands and feet are measured. This is a resistance measurement of acupuncture points, which show a changed measurement value in case of dysfunction. With this examination, functions and dysfunctions are mapped out by means of an individually adapted measuring method, in order to then be brought into logical connection with the complaint. During the consultation, the Vedapulse system is used. A program in which the disturbances in the body are examined in a very extensive area from the perspective of Ayurvedic medicine.
Physical examination
Joints, spine, skin, internal organs, etc. are examined based on the current condition and compensations from the past. This is a refined manual
(with the hands) and palpatory examination in the field of the musculoskeletal system and the internal organs. The mesologist has been trained in this for years, both in determining the healthy mobility of structures and in the abnormal mobility.
For therapy and treatment I use the following options.
- Phytotherapy
(herbalism). Herbs (European and Indian) are used to directly influence certain processes in the body.
- Orthomolecular medicine
(vitamins, minerals).
When shortages have arisen, through nutrition, through illness, through increased consumption.
- Homeopathy
Homeopathy is used within Mesology to stimulate certain reactions and self-healing. This happens both physically and mentally.
- Nutrition
'Don't mop with the tap open' is the motto and that is why dietary changes and lifestyle tips are often recommended.
If I have any doubts about the seriousness of your complaints or diagnosis, I will always refer you to or back to your (family) doctor.
The limits of the therapy lie in acute and life-threatening conditions, here the mesologist works closely with conventional medicine
Expectations and Progress.
Many patients expect to be rid of their complaint after 1 consultation. You cannot compare a naturopathic consultation with a regular treatment. Where you are often quickly relieved of your symptoms with a regular treatment, that does not mean that the cause of these symptoms has also been treated. Therefore, assume that at least 3 consultations are necessary in the search for the cause of the problem. This takes time and patience. Dietary adjustment also takes time. It often happens that patients drop out after 1 consultation because the desired result does not show, or because complaints worsen. This can be a result of the treatment that was initiated. I therefore think it is important to be kept informed of changes in the meantime so that timely management or reassurance can be provided.
